So here is the thing…. I love to raise sheep. They are really neat animals…well not neat and tidy, but fun. They have wild personalities and there isn’t much cuter than a bunch of lambies bouncing around. . . But I love to eat them! I make people laugh all the time. I have some wonderful sheep. They are spoiled rotten. The babies are spoiled rotten. They lead the absolute best life, until their time to nourish us is due. They are humanely dealt with and provide in every way for our families to continue.
Lamb is a wonderful meat. Now I personally use ‘lamb’ interchangeably with any sheep meat. If you want to be technical I suppose ‘lamb meat’ might only be until they are a year old. Honestly I have eaten some older animals and I would be happy for anyone to try them.
