Pork

We do raise Pork when we need to.

The last time was a very large batch however. I got the bright idea that this very nice hog that we got should be bred. Umm did you know pigs have very large litters!?! we ended up with 2 sows and 14 piglets. I have marked that down as one of those “to do once” things.

Currently I have a lot of whole hog sausage which will make your taste buds very happy. It is so very much better than anything in the store. We have the processor season it with a touch more sage than usual and it gives it a delicious mild taste. Makes a great gravy and a tasty complement to your breakfast or any other meal really.
